The program will open with the live performance “CRONE II”. It combines live music and spectacle and is the second instalment of a performance series that debuted in 2023 at the Media Art Academy Cologne (KHM Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln) initiated by Elinor Hasselberg and Lilium Redwine. It is performed by Cătălina Bucos, Rubee Fegan, Lilium Redwine and Maiken Rye.
The performance is followed by a short film program of queer experimental porn surrounding topics of Ecosexuality, BDSM, Queer History and Activism.

The film shows Shoog at work, holding space for a moment of underwater dreamscapes with fat mer-people, genders unknown, and possibilties to rest and refuel from thin.cis.het.patriarchy at Florida’s fresh water springs.

Cult filmmaker Tom DeSimone revisits the production of a lost gay film and resurrects youthful adventures on the California coast. Featuring rare archival footage and intimate personal photos from DeSimone’s youth, Big Sur Gay Porn considers themes of memory, queer aging, and the importance of LGBTQIA+ spaces.

Against the background of an indistinct landscape, Mimi Minus, in close-up, spreads out a large towel, lies down, licks her fingers, spreads her legs, moves her hand to her pubic hair and begins to masturbate. In seven rapid sequences, the camera moves away. Mimi Minus shrinks to the size of a dot, then finally disappears in the harsh contrast of the film, while the cry of her orgasm echoes in the gates of an electronic sound device. In the final sequence, her head comes back into view: “Thank you. It was a pleasure.” By means of precisely timed visual and acoustic interventions Mattuschka creates a filmic distance to her performance. This is done in a particularly impressive manner in this two-minute miniature.
